Shortbread Cutouts!

These super easy shortbread cutouts are made with only three ingredients! My mom got the recipe from her neighbor, Sharon, years ago and makes these cookies throughout the year. However, they make a perfect addition to your holiday cookie line-up when cut into festive shapes and adorned with colored sugars.

The cookies have a rich, buttery taste and using dark brown sugar gives them a deeper flavor. My mom rolls them out pretty thick which makes for a nice-sized, not too delicate cookie. Great for dunking!
