Shortbread Cutouts!

These super easy shortbread cut-outs are made with only three ingredients! My mom got the recipe from her neighbor, Sharon, years ago and makes these cookies throughout the year. However, they make a perfect addition to your holiday cookie line-up when cut into festive shapes and adorned with colored sugars.

The cookies have a rich, buttery taste and using dark brown sugar gives them a deeper flavor. My mom rolls them out pretty thick which makes for a nice-sized, not too delicate cookie. Great for dunking!
