Mary Lou uses a recipe from the book called “Keep on Rolling” where she even makes a cameo for her technique of putting the finished lefse pieces in between sheets of wax or parchment paper and covering with a dish towel to soften it up and make for a perfect texture!

Anyone else getting downright giddy about planning Anyone else getting downright giddy about planning for Thanksgiving 🦃! Something that helps me keep my sanity is making lists and mapping out a game plan. I keep these “Thanksgiving game plans” from year to year, and often refer back to them to remember what I served the year before, what worked and what didn’t. These notes to myself also make a nice little keepsake!

Comment “gobble gobble” below and I will send you the planner I use each year for your own use! 😘
Do you decorate for Thanksgiving?! This is the tim Do you decorate for Thanksgiving?! This is the time of year I get excited for holiday decorations but it just feels a bit early! My husband alway says, “why don’t you just decorate for fall?” Easier said than done?! One thing I am doing is leaving out all doily-covered pumpkins (faux pumpkins) I made for Halloween! How do you decorate for the season of the in-between?!

I feel like I need a little “reset” in the kitchen I feel like I need a little “reset” in the kitchen after all the candy and Halloween treats! Bought a fryer chicken that I plan to roast this weekend. (This one in my orange Bundt pan is from last fall! ) For whatever reason, I find roast chicken to be very grounding and a good foundation for some solid healthy-ish meals! Any tips for roasting chicken? Low and slow?! Just salt and pepper with a bit of butter rubbed into the skin?! 🐓
