I got a tip from a Dish & Teller to divide and tint the cake batter in some spring hues, drop by the spoonful into the cake pans and swirl before baking! Back in my home kitchen after a fun-filled week with Lucy in the big 🍎. We had the most amazing strawberry butter at a diner in her neighborhood one week ago today and I just happened to have all the right ingredients* in my fridge this morning to make my own! 🤗

1 cup butter, softened 🧈
8 strawberries 🍓 (cut up and smashed a bit)
1/4 cup honey 🍯

Beat butter until fluffy. Add strawberries and mix until combined. Add honey and beat again until desired fluffy texture!

This chicken soup with homemade egg noodles is to die for, and I cannot wait to share the recipe and the sentimental story behind it in my upcoming cookbook. It’s a true “recipe from the heart” that my dear friend Carol makes over a two-day period, from making her own stock to the scratch-made noodles, and shares with friends and family who need a lift.
